We came here for an afternoon tea on a random Tuesday and it was JAM PACKED with people.  And for some reason, the place was so stuffy and hot it was really uncomfortable.  The decor of the dining area where we sat was okay, but the inside room near the windows seemed a lot more stylish.  The tables were also arranged quite close to each other, making the travel to and out of our seats a little unpleasant.  There was a rack of english hats to go with the whole English theme, which was kinda funny.

Despite all the little unpleasant things of the setting, it was quickly made up with the terrific servers who were extremely polite, and gave us very good recommendations for the tea.  Ricky ordered the 'Tiger' tea, which had a chocolate flavor and best served with milk and sugar, and I ordered "Twilight", which had lavender that was suppose to have a calming feeling (the server asked whether I ordered because I read the book.. I seriously didn't... but I did read the book...).   The three-tiered tea was quickly served, and the server started us off with a goat cheese quiche, which was still warm.  The sandwiches were very delicious, and we've agreed on the same ranking scale from most liked to very like (yes they were all very good), the cucumber sundried tomato, smoke salmon, and then the chicken and apples.  The next thing we tried were the scones and they were absolute DELICIOUS.  Seriously.. THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD.  And the cream and food preserves that were served along  were totally PERFECT - although one of the food perserve's consistancy was kinda runny.  Ricky and I were fighting over the spread and we literally used our scones to scope the very list drop in the bowls.  Usually these kind of high-teas only serve a scone each, but here at Windsor Arms we each had 2 scones, one plain and the other with currents.  BOTH OF THEM WERE OUT OF THE WORLD!.  We were also given a little bowl of fresh strawberries with whip cream, so we had no room in our tummys to finish the dessert and had to pack them to go (and eating them right now... they are so pretty, cute, and undoubtfully tastey).

Overall, this place is AMAZING.  As I am writing this blog, I just realized we can order tea to go which is only $20 per person.  I am soooo going to go again.. or order the tea to go!
