Every Sunday at Spice Route, they serve a Lundin Dinner menu where you can eat as much as you want of whatever 15 dishes they serve that night.  (I've been counting a few times and I still couldn't get 15 dishes... but that's what they kept saying).  You had to go through all the dishes before reordering seconds or thirds of the one you liked.  In other words, it is like a buffet dinner with better service but you have to go through a round of all their dishes first.

Although I prefer getting food right out from the kitchen instead of from hot tables, the whole experience was simply chaotic.  The dishes weren't served in any specific order, and the servers seemed to serve their tables whatever's available from the kitchen.  We've been offered the same dish 3 times before we were offered something new.  And after an hour, there were still dishes I haven't tried and had to ask the server for a menu so I could find out which ones I was missing.

About the food... I must say I am a bit bias about all these fusion restaurants and as expected, the food was rather disappointing.  The best dishes was the tempura calamari and sweet yam fries.. which to be honest weren't all that great either.  The dessert was pretty good... and maybe even the drink... but the rest of the food was just "So-So".  I would definitely recommend going to a real Chinese restaurant for these dishes.

The selling point of this restaurant is probably the decor and the washroom.. (yes.. you can totally see outside!).  Not really recommended for the food... but if you want to chill at a pretty restaurant which turns into a lounge later at night.. this place is the place to go!
